I just sold 160 cards with PWCC including a number that went well over 1K. I watched the auctions closely and TBH I was concerned at bidding history on a bunch of the higher end cards, including a Gretzky 8 that went for $3200, a 33 Shore PSA 8OC and few other big cards.

ALL of the cards were paid for, there wasn't one retraction. I got paid on all 160 cards, and all of them shipped.

Shilling is an issue, and Ebay's NPB rules are ridiculous. But the crowd that calls shilling on every auction that closes high is not accurate. You could build a whole collection buying just from PWCC - and a lot of buyers apparently do that. This leads to buyers that have 100% bids with PWCC, and if my auction is any indication, the overwhelming majority of cards get paid for by legitimate buyers.

I think there is less schilling in the hockey market than others especially basketball as the prices reflect it.
I've noticed quite a few cards sell for fair/low prices on PWCC in hockey but never in basketball...
