After a relatively slow trading year in 2015 I'm looking forward to more activity on that front in 2016. It would be pretty cool to hit that 1,000 feedback mark here next year.
I'm also hoping to add some more pieces to the Price, Subban, and Pacioretty PC's. Though I am currently collecting other Canadiens players those guys have emerged as my main three. Price stuff is getting more and more difficult to do, especially anything remotely high end, but the other two are still pretty manageable.
Hoping that the October 2016 Habs/Canucks tilt is a bit more enjoyable next year. I had a great fun time there but then the game started. LOL
And with all the Winter Classic stuff that is bound to be there, 2016-17 SP Game Used could be a really fun product for me.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Get to 75% on my new player pc I started in September (player to be announced at a later date).
Obtain the following Larkin Rookies:
Ice (I assume /99)
Black Diamond (The one with the Diamonds)
FWA
Add either a GU Jersey or a goal puck from the Wings/Avs Stadium Series game
Add a GU Jersey from one of the following players, Nyquist, Tatar, Pulkkinen, Marchenko, or Dekeyser
Hope UD obtains a GU Jersey from the Wings/Avs Stadium Series game and uses it in an upcoming SPGU.

That's another thing I didn't do a ton of this year..... until Tim Horton's stuff hit the market, and then UD Series 1. When you're breaking new product, I'm still amazed at how many deals can be completed, and quickly, if you're actually collecting a set - instead of just breaking for the sake of it.
I'm not going to hit 1,000 deals this year (2016) but 500 is in sight!

These would be my goals
1. Get rid of the rest of my traders and stop breaking boxes. This one shouldn't be too hard as I haven't busted a box since artifacts came out but I know the itch will come back soon.
2. Focus on acquiring all sharks base and rookies from 2005-present. Hoping to get all or only have a few higher end ones left by the end of the year.
3. Somehow get rid of all my comc cards listed. This one will be tough as I sent in pretty much all my Thornton bruins base and low end inserts so not a lot of buyers out there. Might try to get someone to take over my port if possible.
4. Hopefully hit the 1000 feedback mark.
5. Continue scanning my sharks collection. Hopefully be done my post lockout stuff and only have the pre-lockout left to go through.

I didn't have any 2015 goals, but here's what I'll put to do in 2016:
1. Keep the Stempniak PC above 90%, and get the Clutterbuck PC to 90%. This one is probably the toughest because a lot of the Clutterbuck wants are stuff print run /5 that I'll likely never see. I'm currently at 91.1% on Stempniak and 87.8% on Clutterbuck.
2. Acquire at least 1 new Game Worn item for the PC. No specifics here - jersey, stick, gloves, helmet, whatever it might be, just want at least 1 new game worn item coming to the PC this year.
3. Reach 500 Feedback on here.
4. Complete my ongoing projects before I start any new ones. I have 3 projects in progress - Team USA YG set, MVP Territories (Down to 2), and 15-16 UD Game Jerseys. Would like all of these done before year end.
5. Continue to spread generosity and encourage other members to do so.
6. Have fun

Yes! Even now, almost two months after release, posting up a Series 1 box break is guaranteed to get some PM's from people building the sets.

Series 1 is the hot mover - I decided pretty much around this time last week I would do the Series 1 Game Jersey set, and a week later I'm down to I think 7 needed to complete it. Amazing

Got back into the hobby around the holidays last year, so did not have 2015 goals but I think it would be a good idea moving forward as this thing can quickly become out of hands!
1. Be more focused on the boxes I buy. I gotta stop buying stuff because it's a "good deal", or to chase a hit or get more traders. I need to focus on the sets I like and want to collect.
2. Sell more often. Sold some cards on ebay throughout the year, but I'd like to do it a little more, to lower the clutter of unwanted cards. Maybe try comc too.
3. Continue to trade. Close to 79 deals in a year, I think it's not bad at all. Great way to make friend about the hobby too! Always a pleasure to find a win-win deal to be made.
4. Figure out my players PCs. I currently have 4-5 PC players, but i'm wondering if I shouldn't cut it down to my 2 main guys.
5. Continue to give out cards to kids. I've been giving out base cards to charities, my wife's school, and making packs for kids on Halloween. It's a great feeling, and maybe it can light up some sparks for new collectors out there!

I sort of took time off from collecting for several months in 2015 - one goal would be to not do that again , so I don`t have to play catch-up for 6 months worth of releases. Next would be to actually get my Predators PC completely noted in a spreadsheet - last Winter I finally got around to separating all my duplicate cards out and that helps tremendously when buying , but I still have to double check in my 5 big boxes . lastly would to hit 400 Transactions here at SCF , I probably would have already if I hadn't taken a sabbatical - So far 2016 is looking good for me - so in closing - may every ones year be bright and full of minty autographs , jerseys , patches and huge PC hits in box breaks !!!!!
