Retail tin containers.
Hi,
Is there a market for the empty retail tin containers? The ones sold by the likes of Walmart and toys r us.
I have about 45 of them that I would like to get rid. Was hoping I can make a couple of dollars off of them.

I don't think there is. This year I spray bombed a few,and the wifey gave out Christmas baking in them. You could always take them to the scrap metal yard but don't expect a huge payout.

Yeah.... I don't think there's any value, at all. I've seen empty Cup tins sell for a couple of buck, I'll be the Team Canada Master Collection one was worth a few dollars, but I can't imagine anyone buying the UD Series 1 tins.
Handy for storage purposes (I keep a couple of them kicking around) though.

Same here, I just use them for storage purposes. I only have a few though, no need for 45. I'd say scrap em or give them away for free If you know any other collectors in the area?

Very few will have a value but I know for a fact that tin from the 100th habs sets will sell well for 10$ in card show. But it was a one time set and some just love Beliveau on the thin. At time some may want them for players they collect but often end up buying the tin with cards to have it and this is why resell is not working really. For instance I do keep all habs tin and even cardbox for my Habs collection but more as a odd ball part of the collection.

I filled my extras with base cards and donated them to Value Village.

I always buy a tin and keep it if Ovechkin is on the cover or someone from the leafs. I've got a handful of them. Shipping them is the real issue.
