RC question
When I was in the hospital this summer, my dad bought a blaster of hockey cards put together by a company I can't remember. Each blaster also comes with an auto, this one had Brad Bombardir. Just took a look at it this morning, and think it may be a rookie card, but I'm not sure. Ebay search results were a mixed bag, so I wanted to see if anyone else can help me. It's a '97-'98 Pinnacle BAP Rookie Brad Bombardir auto (a buyback, I'm assuming) #214. It appears he had a card or two produced a few years earlier. So...not a rookie card? And if not, why on earth does it say rookie?
Either way, Devils jersey or not, it's going in the Wild PC.

Have a scan of this card? Could be one of those inert sets that flashback to his rookie year? I've seen some of those unofficial rookie cards before and it can be confusing. No idea about the specific set though, didn't collect at the time.

97-98 is his Rookie Year. It's a pretty common card. There are a couple parallels of the card including Die Cut with the word 'PLAYER' cut out down the right hand side and a Prismatic version of the Die Cut. Could be a couple others I'm not sure.
There are several of his autos before 97-98 Season but I believe they are pre-rookie cards and not by the major companies producing cards at the time.Master List: Hidden Content

Huh, okay. So probably is a rookie card then. Cool!
