Reimer a Shark

Given his treatment over the past several seasons James Reimer must be glad that Toronto will finally be in his rear-view mirror. I am surprised that Toronto didn't try to turn him into just one slightly higher draft pick because what they got in return for him is not going to do very much for them down the road.

Good for him, the Leafs really want to finish dead last, they kept Bernier who can't stop a beach ball, Good Luck James.

Best of luck to James Reimer. I was (and still am) a very big fan of his. This trade really bummed me out. Such a good guy that competed every night for the Leafs. These are the type of players that benefit a team as a whole.

Unfortunately the Sharks already have Martin Jones under contract for the next while and with Reimer reportedly asking for about $6 mil per season, I don't think he should be buying any real estate in the Bay Area anytime soon.

The Sharks are shoring up their goaltending for a playoff run, nothing more. Next year, Reimer will be somewhere else.
