    Hello from Philly!

    Hello everyone! I just joined this past week and look forward to getting into some trades on here. I've traded a lot on Beckett but became very frustrated with their site and stopped buying their online price guide. I'm a set builder who's working on a several sets from the 70's and 80's, plus a couple Topps Chrome sets, some Ultra's and some others. What is the best way to put together a list of what I need and what I have? I see people have put together "buckets"? Is that the best way?

    "Buckets" are great, and you can also use the SCF Inventory Manager to search for cards and compile what to have (Your Inventory) and what you want (Your Wantlists). Hope this helps, welcome to the site.

    Scott- Welcome to SCF. Buckets are probably best, but tradelists and wantlists work as well.
    Always Looking for:

    A) Graded Vintage (Pre-1980) (BGS, BVG, PSA, SGC) in all sports
    B) Graded True RC's (No inserts or parallels) (BGS, PSA, SGC) in all sports
    C) Certified Auto and GU cards of players from the 70's and further back in all sports

    Welcome to SCF! Buckets are more for Autos and GUs. If you are looking for something to show your want list for sets then I would use the inventory manager or some website. You can check out mine https://sites.google.com/site/bcool0922/home

    Good move to stop buying the price guide at Beckett it is a waste of money and that company is a joke. If you ever need a checklist just check out the Inventory Manager here. It is just like Beckett's but better.
