Yeah, I think there is nothing but upside here. I initially thought Kreider was part of the deal and I wasn't thrilled about that. I know Kreider probably won't be what we thought, but getting Staal for the playoff push is great in my opinion. I also like that fact that Carolina has to eat 50% of his salary.

All in all a good deal for Rangers. I mean the goal is to win before Henrik can no longer carry the team.
