WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash, 56, vowed to donate his brain and spinal cord to the CTE Center at Boston University and the Concussion Legacy Foundation run by former wrestler Chris Nowinski.

Kevin Nash, who has appeared in several films since his retirement from WWE, most notably Magic Mike with Channing Tatum and John Wick with Keanu Reeves, told ESPN on Wednesday that the number of concussions he has suffered over the course of his 20-year career is likely in the double digits.

The 56-year-old said he has experienced short-term memory loss, and scans of his brain have revealed some abnormalities.

Nash added that he made the decision to pledge his brain and spinal cord to science six or seven years ago and put it in his will.

‘It's so powerful when icons like Kevin Nash are willing to pledge their brain for research and talk about it publicly,’ Nowinski told ESPN.com
