Insane Upper Deck Replacement

Let me start with a backstory.

When I moved to Minnesota three years ago I decided I should select a Wild player that I should collect and follow - so I chose Jonas Brodin as it was his rookie season and I enjoyed watching him play. As he was now one of my PC players I picked up a nostalgic 13-14 SPX retro Auto redemption (resembling the 96-97 set) for around $9 on eBay right when they came out. Three years later the card has never been fulfilled and no progress on Brodin actually signing the card. Well Brodin's play has been consistently declining and there has been speculations of him being traded. So I decided I am no longer collecting Brodin and I call up UD to ask for a replacement.

The rep on the phone asks what I would like in return. I tell him Peter Forsberg - I don't care if its three or four cards just as long as it's Peter Forsberg. The rep then says how about a backup just in case, in my i'm thinking McDavid, Gretzky, Crosby but then I say how about Dylan Larkin. I tell him I really want Forsberg but if there are none then Larkin is a good backup. The rep says we typically replace the card with a card of similar Beckett value and similar type of card, we also look for four to five players to choose from, is there anyone else, how about a team? I said the Detroit Red Wings but I would really like Peter Forsberg. He said he could not guarantee anything but took down my wants.

Shortly two weeks later this card arrives.

… it wasn't Forsberg :(

… it wasn't Larkin either :/

… but it was the Red Wings and not similar BV or type of card

I was impressed considering we're talking about a no-name, unnumbered, generic auto replacement.

Card is FT for Peter Forsberg and/or Dylan Larkin.
