Here's a crazy idea, contact the Oiles front office. Maybe they could use the item as a promotional giveaway. McDavid himself might be looking for a copy. It is pretty rare. I'm sure they would give you an offer that could include tickets, player meetings, memorabilia. You never know. I Would contact them just to see, especially if you are not happy with the offers for cash.

You're wondering if it's worth it to go to Toronto to sell one card? No. Anybody in Toronto is also on Ebay. For your flight to Toronto and back as well as your accommodations, you're looking at $1000-1500. Do you think you will get that much more going to Toronto than you will on Ebay? Of course not. Even with Ebay fees factored in, that is your best bet to get top dollar for this card. Anyone in Toronto will be buying it simply to relist on Ebay and only paying a price they know will get them a profit. To me, it's a no brainer to sell on Ebay, just a question of BIN/BO or auction. Good luck regardless of what you decide.

As others have stated, you're better of going to ebay. Maybe get a premium listing or something to draw more traffic, increasing the amount of offers you get.
