Broken cards repearing
Hi all
Could you please share with me your knowledge regarding very specific case - lets assume I am happy owner of 1/1 Gretzky stickname card and for some reason piece of stick on the card fell off. Does it mean my card not authentic any more?
What is a process for "repearing" it? Could I join it back by myself? Seems it is wrong approach but what is best practice here? I am not sure that manufacturers are able to replace ANY card. And I don't like to have replacement, I like Gretzky :)

What is the card and who is the manufacturer? If you have a very specific case, you'll need to give us specific information so that we can give guidance to the appropriate customer service department.
If it's an Upper Deck card you will need to contact Upper Deck. If it's Leaf/ITG, you'll need to contact Leaf, etc.

My case is about Sereal, who is offical KHL cards manufacturer.
For sure it is not Gretzky 1/1 but I use Wayne as clear example for card that doesn't have analogues :)
So your answer is to go to manufacturer. Don't you know anyexamples how thet resolve such issues.
PS I am a bit skeptical about Sereal, who can't resolve even easier issues than finding appopriate solution for 1/1 demage.

It would be easier to identify how to rectify this with a picture or two of the card and the piece that came out, but here are a few options open to you:
1) If you're going to keep the card and feel confident that it can be fixed with a little bit of glue, then go for it, but be ready to assume that this may actually go wrong. If you ever put it up for trade or sale at a later time, though, it would be best to advise that you fixed the card yourself.
2) If you're not interested in keeping the card and you know that Sereal isn't gonna do much for you, then put it up for sale or trade as is and make sure to have good description and pictures of the condition of the card.
3) Contact Sereal by telephone or email and see what they can do for you. Feel free to tell them that you would like them to fix it, maybe they'll be able to, but be ready to have to accept a replacement instead.
I don't have any examples of cards that were "fixed". I once sent a card back to UD because it hadn't been glued well and the top layer (acetate) was coming off, they just sent me replacement cards.

Hmmm unfortunately I'm not at all familiar with Sereal and how they operate or what their CS policy is like.
You should be able to find their website and be able to get in touch with them somehow to get the issue resolved. Good luck!

OK, another quesion.
Lets say I pull auto from pack and it is completely out of sticker - does Upper Deck or Panini or Leaf accept claims about that?
Here is an example. 1-st line in the middle.

I had a similar situation with a "broken" card that was repaired. My card was from Leaf Stickworks and was a Teeder Kennedy stick /5. Similar to this card

In my case, the stick swatch was still inside the card opening, but it could easily slide. If the card had not been in the sealed top loader, it likely would have fell out of the card. This was a card I wanted to keep in my PC, so my choice was to either get a glue stick and fix it myself, or contact Leaf do a proper fix. I chose Leaf QA. I sent the card in and they secured the stick inside the card. I was happy with the result.
I suggest your situation may be similar for a fix. Either do it yourself with a gluestick or contact the manufacturer. However, Sereal is not Leaf so I have no idea what your luck will be.
As for your other issue with signatures running off the label, I think you will be out of luck. Chances are the player signed most/all of the labels that way. You may be better off watching trade boards/ebay, etc to see if you can find a copy where the signature if correctly signed on the label. But I doubt the manufacturer would do anything. I'm quite sure the big boys (UD, Leaf, Topps, etc) would not be able to do anything in a similar situation.
