I like the idea of picking scores instead of the trivia, but I think this will work a lot better for basketball and football. There are a lot less realistic scores in baseball, same with hockey. Maybe we can do some basketball during the pplayoffs.

See Brad, if you knew your stats you'd see that this contest is all cool for now. If you figure that 6 is the maximim realistic score, that breaks down to 7 x 7 - 8 (for double scores) giving you 41 realistic score combinations. We had 14 entries to the contest today and don't expect anything over 20 so for now the contest is all good.

That's why I said first come first serve. It's only worth 10 pts a day though so it's nothing to get mad about if someone already took your score. It's more for bragging rights than it is for points. Just something for fun :p Daily trivia will still take place. I just asked B if I could do this for the hell of it.

we should have something a like a beat the streak like you will get a hit today or hit a homers or like WGN (radio) in chicago has a thing were if a cub player hits a grandslam in the 7th inning of the game you win like 10K and like 1k if they hit a homer in the 7th, and you have to picked randomly to from write in's.
