I Need your opinion! (Long Read)

As some of you may know I have been working on a trading project. I know I will NEVER be able to afford my dream card. So I tried to trade up to it. I did that hoping to achieve 2 things.

#1. I obviously wanted to get to the dream card (Michael Jordan XRC) as impossible as that may seem.

#2. I also wanted to get a lot of trades going.

Here is a link to the original thread if you need more information on that: HERE

The problem was that I was trading 1 card at a time. I started with a Jonas Valanciunas base card and eventually got to a Tim Hardaway Patch Auto /35. I think I did really well but noticed that it's been getting harder to get trades. I have a few opinions on that. I think one of the biggest problems was that I was doing 1 card at a time and that means that if someone doesn't need my card then they won't be able to help me in my mission. I think I should open up my entire tradelist and then people can choose MORE cards that they can actually use while helping me get closer to final goal.

On the other hand I could keep doing what I've already done as I did a lot better than I originally thought. I can't believe in 10 trades I traded a useless Jonas Valanciunas Base card for a very rare Auto of a Legend like Tim Hardaway.

So what are your thoughts on this. I want to continue as long as I can. I don't care if it takes 20 years.

Also any comments on how I could make this work better?

Hmmm this is a tough one. On one hand if u opened up the tradelist it's not the original goal. On the other hand if the goal is the mj card anyway possible trade wise, I know I'd trade up to get some of the bosh low numbered cards.
If ur going to stay on the original course, I'd say try working on trades that involve the named rc's and or HOF. Either way hope you get to your goal one day.

Open up the trading if your goal is to get a MJ rookie. It will be quicker and more likely if you go that route.

If there is something you want in life, you should do whatever it takes to get it. Good luck on your quest!

That is the final goal and I think it would be quicker, you are right!

Only 3 people voted? So far it looks like I should open up my tradelist. Anyone with an opinion on this?
