Customs:
Anyone else having stuff sit in customs for abnormally longer than usual lately? I have a package I just sent in a few days ago, one sitting in Chicago for 8 days, and one that sat in Chicago 5 days, and now Toronto for 7 days. The one I sent before that went to damn Los Angeles before going to Saskatchewan, took 19 days. Last two incoming were sent 9 days apart, and arrived here 3 days apart....15,18 days later. Is there a better, cheaper, faster way I'm missing here or is customs just backed up since the USPS decided to get stupid this year and change stuff? The two I've declared sat the longest and cost the most, while a cardboard mailer with EDC has gone through in less than a week and cost less but I've really only done it with thinner cards. Not sure I'd sent a fat 180pt card this way, but thinner is perfect for them, two side-by-side top loaders taped together and it's rather sturdy in the 4x6 cardboard mailers I use.

honestly, no. I have noticed in the past there are delays at certain locations. Toronto was slower than Vancouver, but it flips. ...

Maybe it's my location then. All my shipments seem to go to Chicago lately, sit there for 5-8 days, then sit in Toronto another 5-8 days. It was faster, like 5-7 days total time until March, then everything just starting going to 2-3 weeks to Canada, but my deliveries from Canada generally only take about a week. Until March, my shipments were going Through NY/Montreal. Then it started going through Chicago to Toronto. I've not had anything go through Vancouver yet. Not sure, that's why I was wondering if there was a faster method. Kind of new to shipping to Canada since finding out about these trading sites and such, as many fans of hockey are in Canada. I'd stopped collecting for a long time because I had no one to trade with and selling on ebay isn't always the best. Haven't had any problems with them arriving, they just started taking a seemingly long time now. A card I shipped april 4th just got delivered yesterday. Sent another the 13th, and it's scheduled to arrive today or tomorrow. Curious when my next two will arrive.
