Howe on NHL 17 Cover? Fine by Me

Hockey fans around the world have been mourning the death of Hall of Famer Gordie Howe since his death was announced last week. Today fans got the opportunity to pay their respects at Joe Louis Arena to the legend one last time.

In Detroit over the last week, there has been a growing movement among Red Wings fans to get the organization to change the name of the upcoming Little Caesars Arena to Gordie Howe Arena. Let’s pump the brakes there.

This was just hard to read...

Anyways, back to the NHL 17 Cover story, I would love to see Howe on the cover. That would be very nice to see.

It might be hard to read but it truthful in some regards. Like athletes who gave their blood sweat and body for a franchise to be so easily forgotten. Much like collecting it all about the hype or what your doing now that matters. All 3 of my grandkids would not know who Gordie is.

Think it would be cool to put him on a cover though like you said. More people would know who he was when they see some dude on a cover of a game eve. If they do not like hockey. A whole new generation would be exposed to one of the best players to ever lace up skates.
