The Maple Leafs Have Traded Their First Round Pick!!!!
Toronto gets Frederik Andersen and one will assume he's the #1 goalie they've been looking for.
In return, the Ducks get Toronto's first round draft pick this year....NO, NOT AUSTON MATTHEWS....at #30, and a 2nd rounder in 2017.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Nice deal for my Maple leafs IMO! Let's hope this works out... Andersson is quite the young goalie!
Although, this trade dashes my hopes of Jhonas Enroth ending up in T.O. Oh well!

The way TO goes through Goalies Enroth may still be a possibility lol... I like this move by Lou!! Hopefully Andersson can be the Goalie we haven't had since Cujo left..

The Ducks had their hands tied. With the possibility of an expansion draft looming and having to pay two quality starting NHL goalies, they could not stand pat. I think Anaheim did the best they could in a tight bind. Toronto was able to jump in however and be the beneficiary of Anaheim's plight. Smart move by the Maple Laughs.

Wish he got a little more $$$, but I'm so stoked about this deal!!! Next year's OPC will be incredible! My PC guy getting cards on my favourite team? Unreal.

Hey, this is pretty cool! From my own personal experience as a goalie, even to get named to a team (even a 3rd string) is still pretty cool. Congrats to Jho!
And hoping for a WC card, but not holding my breath. UD is releasing a small WC set, but I don't think the list is long to include all the goalies. Oh well, but we'll see!
