Itg and leaf ....
so i was going thru my hockey somewhat small collection, i have a mixture of leaf, itg, upperdeck ,ect..but out of those companies i gotta say leaf and itg are just in a league of their in a league of their own...don't get me wrong i like upperdeck and panini ( no more ) but when i look at any card from leaf or itg it just feels different ..like they put so much effort into what they put out..and i actually apreciate them more than any others in my collection..i know every card company caters to different styles of collectors but with them you actually feel like your holding pieces of history from sawchuck..vezina..roy..ect,,ect,,after years of on and off collecting i gotta say my focus will be more on there products for sure..oh and sorry about my spelling

It's a smaller operation, so they are forced to try harder. It shows.

Much appreciated and we do try hard and we do care. I was at UD for 10 years. Enjoyed most of that time. I can say that working in a smaller company has forced me to be involved in many aspects I never would have before, and I love every minute of it!

I agree, while I don't have a lot of current leaf product, I do have a lot of ITG and the quality of the cards and patches/jerseys are fantastic. I can only hope that they can double up on the NHL rights and get back the AHL rights in a few years and then people will really see what they are missing out on.

I'm probably in the minority, and I'm sure LeafGregg will disagree, but I like Leaf/ITG's lack of a license. It forces them to be different. It causes them to focus more on vintage mem rather than just the next hot rookie. I really liked Panini....but was it really THAT different from UD? Not really. I like having the option for something a little different from the norm.
