Minor League Card Set Help
I am thinking of pitching the idea to produce a set of cards for a local University team... and I would like to include autographs and memorabilia in the set. I have a few questions:
1) Is cutting modern graphite hockey sticks dangerous (dust) or if done carefully is it ok?
2) How do I slice pucks?
3) Asides from Sticks, Pucks, Jerseys, and Nets, what other memorabilia might be cool to see in the set? I was thinking something like slice of the ice, boards... something like that
4) Any suggestions on where in Alberta I can get wax packages made? How about foil packages?

Sticks: I would definitely wear a mask when cutting any sticks. You can get them at a local hardware store. You could use a table saw, but the safest way would probably be to use a hacksaw, or oscillating tool.
Pucks: Again you could use a table, or band saw. (wear a mask) SAFETY FIRST!!!! Use a rip fence, and sandwich the puck between two waste blocks. Use a push block and keep hands away from the blade!!!! Better yet - pop the puck in a vice and use the trusty hacksaw.
Nets and jerseys are nice. I think pretty much everything has been done (skates, gloves, pad, blocker, etc... I think helmets would be cool. How about a goalie mask? If painted it would produce multi-color pieces! How about the nameplate from the players locker? If they would part with it.Hidden Content
