Post San Antonio Spurs Legend Tim Duncan Retires

    http://www.breitbart.com/sports/2016...uncan-retires/

Certain Hall of Famer, two-time NBA MVP, and the owner of five NBA championship rings Tim Duncan retires after nineteen seasons with the San Antonio Spurs.

During his tenure, Duncan led the Spurs to a 1,072-438 regular-season record. Duncan averaged 19 points and 10.8 rebounds per game since San Antonio chose him as the No. 1 overall pick in the 1997 NBA draft.

In Duncan style, he so quietly decides to call it a career. Not needing to announce a retirement tour. What a difference between he and Kobe Bryant, who also retired. I'm really going to miss Timmy. His postgame, his bank shots, his passion and respect for the game. The definition of professional. It is the end of an era. I can't wait to see his #21 retired by the Spurs. It would've been fun to see Duncan play with Pau Gasol but I figure he felt the Spurs were in good hands with Kawhi, LA and co.

I wish he would've played one more season though, to chase a 6th championship. 19 years, why not make it 20? His play is still effective despite his age.

I bought this @ a card show several years ago. I doubt I'll ever sell it. Duncan is the best PF to ever play the game, in my book. I'm so grateful to have seen his entire career. Even when he and Admiral beat my Knicks for their first respective championships.
