Upper Deck Posts 2015-16 UD Black Gallery

    Wow.

    https://www.facebook.com/UpperDeck/p...53779288123951

During its initial two-year run as a standalone product, UD Black had some amazing cards featured in the product. More than a handful of cards in my PC come from Black and they're all among the most aesthetically pleasing cards I own. The use of the gold foil and signatures really makes those cards pop. Things are a little different design-wise now, but one thing is for sure: these are nice hockey cards.

Per UD: "Each pack features six super-premium cards, including one guaranteed Lustrous Rookies Signatures card"

Here we go with the gallery...

Great looking cards. The Crosby relic card is my favorite.

Since I am quick to criticize them I will give Upper Deck credit this time for some nice looking cards. Any word on the price per pack?

The want list at this link features what I need of Giroux, Couturier, Ottawa Senators, and Miscellaneous set. If you have nothing from it I will consider CFL cards, current Senators, Carey Price, Guy Lafleur, Patrick Roy (Habs), vintage hockey (pre 1970) and trade bait.

    Thanks and Happy Trading.

OH WOW. I might be using the funds I got from my McDavid to fund some boxes. I didn't want to open anything else! Those are stunning!

@piper1 It is a high end release. Six cards per pack and will run about $260-$280 US in the States. Not sure about Canada but this is one release where the group breakers will be sending out $60 base cards. Lol

Yes, some gorgeous cards. SCC has the pre-order price at $265 US last time I looked.

This product will most likely be extremely hit or miss. Will definitely pick up some singles, though.

Great looking stuff. Interested in seeing a checklist... and how much a particular retired goalie is featured in the set :)
