    New To Sports Cards, Advice?

Hey guys I'm new to this forum and the main reason I signed up is because I want to get into
sports cards, preferably Baseball, Basketball & Football. Would anyone be able to please give me any advice or point me in the right direction for good beginner information and what to look for or what sort of cards would be good to start with. I'm based in Australia so would eBay be the biggest seller for cards? Thanks for any help guys!!

    See leong1's Items on eBay

I would start by buying boxes. You should pick a box in your budget. Each sport has low end brands & high end brands. You will want to buy a "Hobby box", which has more inserts (autographs, relics, etc) compared to a "Retail box". Do your homework & see what you get in a box (average number of autographs per box, etc).

I think buying from ebay is a good idea because I'm not sure if there are card dealers in Australia. You could also check to see if some of the better dealers send internationally. Some other members may be able to help on that.
