    Affordable tracking options to Europe?

Just checking the hive-mind on the title topic. I've recently lost my second package to Europe in the last two years and I'm trying to figure out if there are any affordable options to get stuff over there with tracking or some kind of coverage. Canada Post seems to be right out to lunch as do most of the shipping companies. Anyone have a sneaky cheap secret way of sending to our European hockey brethren?
    Many thanks,
    Shawn

I doubt it. Only time I've sent to Europe tracked cost me about $60 CND.... sending only 4 cards (it wasn't a big package).

Registered mail for an oversized letter is the cheapest option.

Registered mail. It's like $22 or so. I've never lost one of those. Can only insure up to $60 and don't tell them it's a card inside. Can only send documents by registered mail. But it is very secure.

    I also send Registered

I always declare a low value and usually mark gift

    In the $20 range.

Have sent about 6ish packages to Sweden / Czech Republic like this during this calendar year and everything turned out fine

wish I would have known that. Just sent a couple cards regular mail to Latvia in which I inquired about tracking and was quoted $60+ for two cards!!! Pooped my pants! I have sent to Europe before without issue, but it just takes one time and your out the cards you sold or traded and if trading, have to send the card you traded for back to them as well!!
