    Last year I recall that we didn't start hearing confirmation regarding some of the redemptions until December and I think most of the Wild Cards were identified by mid-January.

    They will have the full official list after All Star weekend, as that is usually the cut-off date for rookie debuts to be included in the current season's cards. Many names will trickle out before that, particularly the big ones. You can safely assume that Matthews will be the Toronto redemption but they may not announce which Wild Card # Marner will be until later.
