Joe, lol. I used to live in Richfield, MN, and few of my buddies there, who love watching KG play, think Wolves have a chance.

2 out of 2 in my picks so far.
Picked the Boston upset (although not number of games)
Picked the Sacramento win.
Tonight can see several more picks come true: Spurs, Lakers, and Nets.
Anyone else care to update their own picks?
Would be fun to see who picks correctly the winners after NBA Finals are done.

Now that Spurs and the Lakers have finished off Suns and Wolves respectively....and Nets beat Bucks
I am 5-5 so far.
Tomorrow, Dallas vs Portland; Phil vs NO; and Detroit vs Orlando
I am looking for the Orlando upset, and look for Phil to close out series. Not sure who wins tomorrow in Portland.
Can Portland possibly come back from 3-0 deficit to win it all?

5/3/03 update: well, another series is now over ,as AI made an incredible, lucky bank shot to give the Sixers a 4-point lead and eventually ended the game. 4-2 series over.
As for Portland - Dallas....man oh man, when the shooting isn't there, it's all over. Portland just devastated Dallas last night. Game was over before halftime, as Dallas kept missing and missing.
I think if Portland can keep up the defensive pressure, they will be the first team to win 4 straight after being down 3-0. Never been done in MLB or NBA; only 2x in hockey.
I cannot believe how soft the Dallas defense is; I knew it wasn't very good.....but, the past 2 games, it's been non-existent. As the joke goes, "..there's no D in Dallas....or in Dirk, for that matter...."
Nowitzki, averaging 34.8 points for this play-offs, had 4 points. That's right FOUR points, on 2-11 shooting.
How can a 7-footer not be able to post inside??
wowowowowow. Did you see the bench in the 2nd half, the Dallas starters were just in absolute shock.
Can they recover to win game 7?
I say
1) yes ---- IF they start hitting their shots from the start of the game
2) no --- if they begin the 1st quarter shooting in the low 30% area.

I am SHOCKED by what I am seeing, as Detroit has an 18-point lead with just 3 minutes left in 4th quarter.
I thought Magic was going to win the series; and once they had the series lead, I thought it was over.
Boy, did the Pistons turn up that defense of theirs.
Absolutely stymied Orlando's offense in last several games.

Well, I was correct in all my picks except for Orlando upsetting Detroit. Orlando was up 3-1 games, and just couldn't close it out as the Pistons defense really clamped down on T-Mac.
Just shows how badly teams need 2 superstars.
Can slow down Shaq and/or Kobe, but not both.
As for Portland - Dallas, Dallas finally pulled the 4th game out, but only b/c for some inexplicable reason, Blazers didn't go into Rasheed in the post. Why not?!?!? Dallas has no interior defense, and Rasheed's game is the inside post. Blazers had a really good chance to win, even leading by 3 in 4th quarter, but it was meant to be.
