Printing 8x10s
Buying 8x10s is beginning to become more and more costly so I am looking into printing my own photos. I have a normal run of the mill printer--is there specific paper that is good for these? Also, does the printer and printer cartridges matter?

I like Kodak photo paper.
Idk if there is a Walgreens near you, but they offer a free 8*10 around once a month. I'll try to post here when I see them again.

Just make sure it says photo paper. I prefer Canon Photo Paper but I also use HP photo paper. Usually Office Max/Depot has sales on it. If you want the best quality, invest in a photo printer. I use mine all the time and it cost me like $50, but that was like 5 years ago so they probably have better ones now, but it serves its purpose

Seconded on Walgreens. That's what I always do and as long as you use a Google image over 920x780 (Double check that, but I'm pretty sure it's right), you can upload and crop them thru Walgreens site. Just search "Walgreens photo promo code" on Google and you can almost always find at least 30% and usually over 40% off. I regularly get four or five photos printed for a little under $10.
