I like that the OPC cards (and Champ's as well) are cardboard and the same thickness of the cards that we grew up with. This makes them easy to put into sheets and binders. I got rid of all of my sheet/binders a few years back because there are so many cards you can't put into them. Since I'm working on those old sets I'm buying binders again. I think that's the appeal of OPC (or Champ's) to me.

OPC were big sets with all the parallels, wrapper redemptions, subsets, etc. I also collected OPC Platinum even though they were not cardboard-backed because the design is the same as regular OPC and there are hard-signed autos. I switched to Champs this year for three reasons: (1) I like the card design, (2) the set is smaller, and (3) there are no silly manufactured patches and thick picture cards (apologies to those who like them). I don't usually collect memorabilia cards, but I like the same-as-base jersey-card design in Champs so I am collecting them.

I use the Ultra Pro binders as well. For the thicker Champs jersey cards, I use the Ultra sheets with four pockets. I can fit 8 cards in them perfectly by turning the cards sideways.
