Auston Matthews YG Issues?

Hi,

I had a question for you all about the Auston Matthews YG, I keep seeing people saying that the card is not centered well and other issues as well like the foil missing or what not. Does anybody have pics of the issues so I know what a good one looks like and is there other yg's in this new set that has those kind of issues as well? Has there been this kind of problem with other certain yg's as well? The only one I can recall is the MacKinnon YG from a few years ago that had the pink smear by his shoulder on some of the cards

Ok thanks, I would too but i'm very curious if this is gonna be another MacKinnon YG issue

You should check eBay or COMC, if there was a widespread problem with the Matthews YG it would show up there.

I've seen a couple cards in-person with issues--there's a crimping problem on the edges of some cards, while others are off-centred by about 1/8" to the extent that you see the edge of another card. I know that UD was replacing these cards on the floor at the Expo and I suspect that there will also be a lot of replacement requests in the weeks ahead.

Back in 09-10 there was also a serious issue with roller marks on the YG's.

Was lucky with my Matthews cards but I had a real problem with my canvas card being off center. Looks like some bad cuts were made.

I was at the show and they took care of it for me. A bit of a pain in the butt but they will make good on cards clearly cut poorly.

Looking at my Matthews now and I guess I lucked out because mine looks fine.

That happened to me, purchase a case and I had to send back every single young guns, all of them had roller marks. Being a seller, it was awesome! No sales, plus didn't receive any extra cards for the inconvenience.

Have a roller mark on one of my YGs this year, but not the Matthews. You can see a clear line in the gloss on the front of the card.
