Just getting started with TTM. Help?

Hey guys. I have been collecting signed memorabilia for some time now. I want to start getting 8x10s signed through the mail.. I also may do baseballs. Any tips on how to get started?

From what I gather.. This is what I will need:

    1. Item needing signed.
    2. Short letter
    3. Pen
    4. Return envelope (do you send a folded one for the 8x10s?)

Also, do you guys use padded envelopes or just regular envelopes? I'm sure I will have about a million questions.

Use a photo mailer for return and send them in an envelope. Include a letter, but not a pen/marker.

I personally buy the large boxes of 10x13 envelopes from Staples (which are often cheap this time of year), put some postage on them, as well as a return address, fold it in half, and mail it in a 10x13 envelope. I also always use a photo toploader to keep it as safe as possible. Only costs about $3-$4 each way.
