    New to SCF. Working on a project

    Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah everyone. I'm new to the Sports Card Forum site but have been around our hobby for many years.

    I'm working on a crazy project and I could use our collective experiences here.
    Like my user name infers, I'm a collector of the Greats of the Game series produced by Fleer. I am currently working on the 2004 Baseball and Football Greats of the Game sets. Here's the crazy part....I'm trying to put together as close to a master set as possible. Now, I'm not going to go crazy with the 1/1 cut auto's (Personality Cuts and Comparison Cuts and some of the Etched in Time Cuts) but I'm trying to get everything else and I'm trying to learn as much about the set as possible. I'm sitting at about 75% of the set completed (including GBA auto's and mem. cards).

    Anyone here consider themselves an expert in things Fleer? How about the GOTG product? How about the 2004 GOTG product? I would enjoy picking your brain.

    I look forward to starting this dialogue.

    Happy Holidays all.

    Thanks for the welcome.
    Specifically, I am looking for any information about the following cards in the set;
    A. In the 2004 Fleer GOTG Baseball set and in the Glory of their Time subset, has anyone ever seen a Carlton Fisk Game Used Bat card? It would be the CF-2 variation. There is a CF-1 game worn jersey card in both silver and gold foil variations. I have read that there is a CF-2 "Bat" card, but have never seen it.
    B. Also in the Baseball set and in Series 1, has anyone seen a GBA (Gold Border Autograph) card signed by Rick Dempsey or Phil Rizutto. I have pretty reliable info that tells me that the Rizutto card was a Redemption Card but I have heard nothing about the Dempsey card and have never seen one.
    I have more specific questions about the Cut Signature edition of 2004 GOTG Baseball (series 2) but I'll ask those at another time.
    Thanks for reading and hope to hear from you all.
