    Ebay Question

I won this auction last week DPP Jerseyand the card finally came. This morning i was looking at it and on the top and bottom of the diamond that the jersey sits in there are creases. The guy shipped the darn thing in a white envelope and had the card in a top loader wrapped in printer paper. The item was not received as described. Is this something that would warrant a negative feedback? I am not too sure on ebay protocol.

    Any help is appreciated.

I think that you should ask for a refund. It's not likely that the creases around the jersey are a result of the shipping, and that means that the card wasn't in mint shape, as he described.

How do you ask for a refund? Do you do this through ebay?

I would just e-mail the seller and tell him about the creases. Start there before you get eBay involved.

Yes, email him, let him know of the condition of the card. And if he refuses to give you a refund, then take it straight to the Ebay dispute area.

I buy on ebay, and I have been involved in transactions like this. All you have to do is ask for the refund by email, or a personal question on ebay. And simply take it to EBAY if he refuses.

You're right. Ebay should (but won't) look into this.
I'm tired of sellers holding your feedback for ransom. If I post immediate payment then I should get immediate positive feedback. Not have to wait
until I actually get the item and leave them a feedback.
Actually, I email the seller once I receive the item and tell them that I got it
and that they must leave me a feedback before they get theirs. Has worked
so far, but I shouldnt have to do that.

I got in contact with the seller and he has been really cool about it. He said that he will help me right this wrong. I am going to scan the card for him and he siad that he will refund what I paid and actually pay to have it sent back. Talk about stand up! The only problem is that I am trying to put together a set of those jersey cards that are multiple color. Sucks that I lose that one at a great price.

For $3 you might better just keep it in case you never find another one.
