Don't ever give up on a ttm! I've had some that come back 2+ years later!

Depending on the player I usually write off a TTM request 6-12 months after I sent it. I too have had some come back well over a year later and after I have written them off as failures. When that happens it is a nice bonus.

I think some guys respond as they get them and others do a bulk mailing return a few times a season.

Raisel Iglesias 2/2 back yesterday, sent on March 13th.
11/35 for the season now. Still disappointing. Maybe the WBC hurt this year?

Are you guys also discussing in-person Spring Training successes? Would like to share some from last week if that's appropriate. Also, does anyone know what happens to the mail that goes to the spring training complexes after the guys leave? Does it get forwarded to the major league ballparks, is it kept safe until the next year, or does it get recycled?

After a little dry spell I received a great ST return yesterday from Chih Wei Hu:

I am currently at 12/46 for spring training and hopefully a few more successes will continue trickling in.

Finally got one! Rookie catcher Omar Narvaez c/o White Sox. He signed in blue pen, so the signature is a little hard to make out, but I'm just glad I got a current ST success. Hopefully more are on the way!
