How many movies, shows and albums would you have to boycott.
I was just flipping channels this morning looking for something to watch, a lot that was on had people who have ticked me off to the point of not seeing them on. I was wondering how many of you have chosen to boycott things with certain people in them whose political views and lifestyles don't mesh with your own.

Probably zero. I don't really hold what others think against them since I wouldn't want them to do it to me. Also it is basically impossible to offend me so most of the stuff said has no effect. Though I guess I'm not really the target of Hollywood or the music industry since I haven't paid to see a movie in 15 years and don't have cable TV so I was already providing zero income for them.

The only artist whose music I will change the station on because of beliefs is Michael Jackson who was known to be Anti-Semitic besides possibly being involved sexually with children.

I watched about 10 minutes of Steven Colbert the other night and swore never again. I don't know if I would actually boycott anyone because of there political views because like said above its not my place to tell anyone how to think. Some actors/actress/celebrities I look at differently now though are Madonna, Suzanne Sarandon, Tim Robbins, Meryl Streep, Robert Deniro and Whoopi Goldberg.

I agree of not boycotting them for their views and opinions, but with that being said I do have a problem when someone like Madonna says something about wanting to blow up the white house. I mean she might not ever do it but she might have a crazy fan out there trying to impress her who would. I also think celebrities should be seen and not heard, they are entertainers not politicians.
