A new member from New York, saying hello
Hello all,
Here's a story that might sound familiar:
Kid grows up in the 1980s collecting sports cards. Kid gets older and finds other interests and hobbies. Many years go by, and kid's collection sits in boxes and binders in an attic. Now fully grown, kid rediscovers his collection and gets all nostalgic about it.
Do you fit that description? Well, so do I!
About two years ago I rediscovered my collection of baseball and hockey cards, and since then I've been getting back into the hobby — mainly by finding and reading numerous blogs on the subject (to name a few: Shoebox Legends, The Shlabotnik Report, A Pack to be Named Later, The Cardboard Review, and Off the Wall Baseball Cards).
And that's how I came across sportscardforum.com.
I'm looking to complete a few of my old sets from the 1980s and 1990s, and soon I'll be adding lists of cards that I need (and also cards I have available for trade). If you're looking for commons and card lots from the same decades, maybe we can make some trades. I look forward to it!
Thanks for reading.
