1977-78 Topps Red Progressive Proof Bobby Orr- Need info
I just received this 1977-78 Topps Red Progressive Proof Bobby Orr and can not find any info on it. Can anyone help me out? It is also graded 9 by CSA and says 4 of 8 on the grade. Any info is appreciated.
Also, if this should be posted somewhere else please let me know. Thanks

I've never seen one of those before. I like it.
Maybe one of these great members on here can shed some light, as I'm not as familiar with cards from that time unfortunately.

Back in the late 80's or early 90's Topps held an auction in New York City where they raised money for charities by auctioning off progressive proof sets of cards. Unlike print plates of today, back in the day anywhere from 4-10 plates were used to make cards.
From the info on the grading text, this card must have had 8 different proofs.
Here is the full set for his 1976-77 card of which there were 10 different proofs.

This is awesome. So cool. I don't even own the card, but I think this is great stuff! The more you know :)
I'm sure @redsox105 will appreciate it!
