Tonights game vs Southern Maryland. Did not need much but did not get much because of the rain. Only stayed 5 innings and glad I did because by the time I got home which was the 7th inning the tarp was on the field again for another delay

Did talk to John Harris and mentioned I guess with Gary Brown retiring they are without a hitting coach and he said yes and that the team is hurting big time. He would not elaborate.
Anyway here is all I got

Tonights game vs Southern Maryland
Talked to John Harris about his clubs situation and he said they have quite a few players hurt. They have not signed replacement players and are using their relief pitchers for their DH. Asked about Cory Vaughn as I did not see him all series and was told Cory was at a Diabetes Seminar.
After losing 4 straight to Somerset and 3 of them on walk off plays and quite a few errors their frame of mind is not good going into tomorrows playoff game with Lancaster for the first half

Jordan Pachero he is on the 10 day DL but asked Kevin Baez about him and he said he feels he is thru this year as he broke a bone in his hand. Asked if he feels he might make the playoffs at all and he doubted it

Tonight was NJ Devils night so we had the Jersey Devil mascot and Ken Daneyko in attendance both signing autographs on 4x 6 postcards
Got both postcards and had a 2001-2002 Devils team 8 x 10 poster I had Ken sign. He said if you notice there is no one smiling in the picture as they just lost the series and I looked and he was right.

Next game Thursday to finish up the Ducks

Tonight I finished up all my Long Island cards.
Would have stayed post game after the fireworks to work on Somerset but since the game was over 3 and a half hours then the fireworks my son had enough and I kind of did also.

Next game Sunday. Also did look it up and it looks like Bridgeport might be thru unless they find another stadium as the city will not renew the lease. Instead they want to have about 30 concerts in the stadium instead. We will see

It was also the veterans day celebration today and on hand was MOH winner Col Jack Jacobs and I missed his auto 2 years ago so today I enlisted my sons help to bet one Bluefish player while I was able to the Col Jacobs. This was his first attempt and he did good.

The season is winding down with only about 5 home games left before the playoffs and we just lost out 17th player to affiliated teams Justin Pacchioli had his contract purchased by the Red Sox at game time. We started with 32 players in April 1 retired and 1 was suspended and now 17 have been signed. In all my years with the Patriots I do not believe one team has been overhauled as much as the Patriots this season and it shows in the second half. Well now with last nights siginings
