    Well, you can blame this year's result on those two bloated contracts given to Toews and Kane. Where are all the Hawks fans claiming those were such great deals now? They probably could have used Shaw and Teravainen during the playoffs...

    Yeah that was the most god awful stretch of Hockey I've seen the Hawks play all year. The preds really deserve a lot of credit they got early leads jammed up the neural zone and made the Hawks play dump and chase hockey which they just aren't built for. The Hawks will be just fine I think they should have pressed the panic button in the series a little sooner and maybe used a couple of the veteran guys that are more grinders but I think the Hawks felt things would turn at some point. Going into next year if possible the Hawks could use some size which they lack and maybe add a couple veterans next year would help maybe bring back Sharp? Boyle would be a dream come true for the Hawks but I'm not sure he's even a FA.
