One player can't beat a good team ... the better team beat the best player on the court, period.

Cavs giving absolutely no effort whatsoever on defense. Not even trying...no movement on rotations, no hands up when the opponent shoots. Basic stuff. Absolute laziness. Lue used the word "casual."
All that said, I figured Indiana would take at least one at home. They are a great home team. Their fans really root them on.

Wow, Cavs have cut this to five. LeBron is being LeBron and Lance Stephenson has fallen back into stupid mode, killing the Pacers' offense with awful decision making

Indiana's 3-point shooting early on seemed...unsustainable.
Meanwhile, I'd say Jason Kidd has this coaching thing figured out lol.

Kidd is a brilliant tactician. He's coached well wherever he's been.
As for Cavs...that is one of the most amazing comebacks I've ever seen. LeBron basically did it single-handedly. I'm convinced now that he's the best since MJ. Kyrie and Love were on the bench for the entire 4th quarter, and James just drove them the entire second half. They were down 25 at halftime. 25! One the road, where they've been having horrid second halves lately. But James does the most astonishing things sometimes. I am still in shock. I almost turned the game off at the half. Glad I didn't.

When LeBron finally hangs them up his stats will be other-worldly and just dwarf Jordan's ... he will be considered the GOAT by the largest percentage of fans as he will basically be the Gretzky of the NBA ... he may not have the most rings but his stats will be so outrageous that such will be enough ... and by the way, I think he's a better basketball player than Jordan was honestly ...

Jordan was the more intense competitor, had better hand-eye coordination, and made fewer tactical errors. LeBron has better court vision, gross motor coordination and body strength, and perhaps a wider overall skill set.
I think it's hard to argue with MJ being the greatest of all-time. Nonetheless, there are some things LeBron is better at, and it would be especially difficult to argue anyone being better since Michael. Kobe was great, but he was much less efficient than Jordan (shooting percentage, decision-making, etc.) and certainly lacked the court vision, strength, and overall game of LeBron. I used to have Kobe over LeBron, but in the last couple of years, James has settled the case, IMO.
Anyway, back to the playoffs -- I have faith again that the Cavs can make the Finals now.

Agreed but Alonzo Mourning was a more intense competitor than Shaq was and that certainly didn't make him the superior player.

LeBron is the superior all-around player indeed.

Jordan has a claim to GOAT status but so does Kareem, Chamberlain, Russell, LeBron ... and even Shaq (though his would be based on his prime years rather than his entire career) and Kobe.

Kobe is my fave player of all-time but even I can see that LeBron is the superior all-around player ... as for MJ ... I have no doubt Kobe was a more dynamic scorer but MJ was bigger/stronger/faster and that gives him an edge overall.

Oh yeah, never a doubt in my mind ... unless LeBron gets injured.
