^ They were done before the series even started ... East teams don't even believe they can beat LeBron ...

Korver is owning Norman Powell
Raptors started out well, but then Korver came in. +12 with Korver for Cavs, -18 with Powell for Raps

Raps made a run again, but once more, Cleve takes over in the 4th. Kyrie was actually really sucking until that 11 point barrage. Cavs broom. Toronto really had no chance of winning a game, even at home, when Lowry got hurt.

I have a feeling these games are going to be a snooze fest until the Finals. The Western Conference Finals could be interesting but that's about it.

Yeah the way things are going in the Celts/Wiz series, it doesn't look like either team could pose much of a threat the way the Cavs are clicking right now. Cavs have answered all the problems they had in the regular season, and then some. LeBron is playing the best ball of his career. The Korver signing is looking genius for their previous bench woes. Dude even taught LeBron how to shoot FTs more consistently. Only GS looks like they could stop them at this point.
Honestly I think it's similar in the West though. Spurs and Rockets are nice but could they really give GS a run for their money? Barring a horrible injury to someone like LeBron or Curry, I think most of us are just waiting for the Warriors/Cavs Finals rematch. I wonder if GS and Cle can sweep their way through the conferences and then meet in the Finals. That would probably be a first in league history of it happened.Last edited by WilyWestbrook0; 05-07-2017 at 09:27 PM.

I'd love to see the Cavs and Warriors each go 12-0 but if the Spurs happen to beat the Rockets I don't see a Popovich coached team getting swept ...

The NBA league won't allow so many sweeps. You will see the refs step in and "call a bad game" and let some team go back home or something. They get too much money in ratings and from attendance to see all the series go 4-0.

After a feisty win, the Spurs DOMINATE the Rockets AT Houston to close out the series. Playing WITHOUT Kawhi and Parker.
This is why Gregg Popovich is the greatest coach of all-time. He can make any lineup win. It's all about the system when it comes to the Spurs, and that system is Popovich's. I'm convinced he could coach a D-League team to the playoffs if given the time.
Also, James Harden is still the biggest choke artist of any superstar player I've ever seen in my 20+ years of watching this league. It was like watching him in the OKC Thunder Finals all over again. How well I remember his disappearance then. Nothing has changed. He seems to have the least competitive fire of gifted players out there. No one implodes in the clutch as much as he does. It's not that he tries to do too much, like, say, Westbrook. Harden just utterly vanishes.
