Question about the epacks. Is there a production run when they start? If so then they can be sold out if not then they can keep producing until people stop buying?

Question about the epacks. Is there a production run when they start? If so then they can be sold out if not then they can keep producing until people stop buying?

They do sell out. They allocate a certain portion of their production run to epacks, and those just aren't given to distributors. They make the "hits" and just don't print the commons, so that is how they save money. In the past, they have announced when they were about to sell out. But Series 1 was still for sale yesterday, so we'll see if it's still for sale when they come back today. You can see how many cards are on the website, and they have not sold as many S1 as they did with last year's sets, so I would guess S1 will probably still be on sale. As for your question specifically, they wouldn't be able to keep the presses running because of all the numbered inserts.
