Un-circulated cards question
When looking at various collectibles (coins in particular), un-circulated items generally have a higher value placed on them vs. out of the box. How would you value cards (redemption, replacements, damaged replacements etc) that still have the tape from Upper Deck applied to the case it came in and are thus un-circulated? Worth the same, 5% more, 10% more, more than that?

It would have zero effect on the value of the card if it has the "original tape" on the card from UD Central vs being in a one-touch.
Pretty much the only time that having a factory/manufacturer "seal" of sorts on cards has any effect on value is with the old ITG Superlative cards. Having the ITG seal was your guarantee that the card patch hadn't been tampered. Cards busted out and put into regular top-loaders or one-touches would get less money. Of course, that was all before the Vault nonsense anyways.Last edited by RGM81; 05-08-2017 at 01:23 PM.

Yeah as far as I'm concerned, the only thing that would bump values up on a card would be a BGS/PSA Slab+grade.
