OPC Platnium vs. Parkhurst
Looking at picking up a couple boxes and want to to know what people's opinion are regarding 16/17 OPC platinum vs. Parkurst. Which do people prefer for trading the values of rookies all that type of stuff.

I haven't opened Parkhurst this year, but I did just open my first box of OPC Platinum at the Expo last week. I really like the look of the cards and was very pleased with my box break. A lot of tradable goodies for sure. As for the rookies, I would go with Platinum due to the various rookie parallels you could hit which are very desirable for player collectors.
Here's the link to my box break, if you're interested:

I'm not sure on the average box of OPCP, but I got a ton of rookies in my box.
Hope this helps ! Best of luck with whatever you decide to go with. :)Jhonas Enroth Card Collector & Host of the Hidden Content

At the retail level, I would suggest going to Parkhurst. I prefer the look and design of Platinum but the blasters will probably not get you much better than an /199 parallel, while the Parkie can get you an array of rookies and parallels plus a couple inserts. Good luck!

I haven't broken a box in years, but I did break 2 packs of Platinum and a blaster of Parkhurst. Got a bit in each Platinum (Silfverberg orange /50, and Matthews RC), and my blaster revealed 3 rookies, 3 reds and a black, along with a Top 25 Krecji and a Corey Crawford insert. All in all, I was pleased with both, but price wise, moreso with Parkhurst. Gotta love shiny though!
Always looking for Senators cards! Must be a draft pick, or the card is identifiable as a Senators card before I want it!
As most of you know, I suffered a fairly severe stroke in April '25, so mail goes out anytime!

I too love the parkhurst set. I have been trying to rainbow every Leafs rookie featured in the set as well as get their rookie parade inserts. Just need the black parallel of Matthews and Nylander to finish the set! its been fun getting them.
