I don't like PSA as I consider their grading fees a scam ... but ... PSA 10s do bring more than BGS 9.5s, especially on older cards.

However, if you have 1/1s I don't think it makes any difference at all.

Also, if you're on a budget you are almost forced to go with BGS due to PSA's exorbitant fees.

Please explain this nonsense your spewing? How is 6.00 or 7.00 "exorbitant fees"? BGS is 10.00 per card.

Nonsense? What I said is 100% true!

BGS' grading fees are "per card" which is fair and sensible.

PSA's grading fees are based on a particular card's value which is a SCAM, absolutely despicable and so absurdly greedy and disgusting that I refuse to submit anything to them!

I don't deal in inexpensive cards ... every single card I own is worth at least $1k and some are worth $10k+ ... I can submit those types of cards to BGS and be charged the exact same price as if I submitted a card that is only worth $15.

However, with PSA, to grade just ONE of my best cards, they would charge me $250! THAT IS ABSOLUTELY SICKENING IN THE EXTREME!

    It takes PSA the
exact same amount of time and the exact same amount of material to grade and slab a $10 card as it does a $5,000 card yet they charge $18 per card for any card worth under $500 and $250 for any card worth $5k or more ... that is abhorrent and disgusting in my view and I don't want to be a part of it!

I would have no issues with buying a card that was already graded by PSA but there is no way I want to send them any of my money directly to slab my cards. I am NOT saying no one else should use them; they are quality graders and PSA grades can carry a premium so more power to them ... I just personally don't want to pay outrageous and uncalled for prices for grading just like I don't want to pay such for shoes ... I consider myself to be rather thrifty (outside of my card, memorabilia, art and real estate holdings that is) and would like to be able to keep it that way.

Here is their fee chart if you weren't aware that what I typed above was 100% true: https://www.psacard.com/fees/
