Family collecting
I was inspired to write this from 2 different things I've read recently. The first was on if we are misunderstood in the hockey forum, the second was an upper deck blog post about a dad opening packs with his 2 sons. My 5 year old daughter is starting to really enjoy the hobby both opening packs, sorting and watching breaks. She likes all cards from all sports, but her PC is Todd Frazier. You may consider this an odd choice, but in 2016 she got a batting practice home run ball we got signed by him before the game. For hockey, she likes the Hawks because we live in Chicagoland.
I'm also excited as my nephew is starting to get into the hobby (his grandpa owned a card shop for a few years and still has too many base/inserts from the 90's in their house) and I am going to take him to the LCS for the first time this weekend when they visit.
Do you collect with anyone? If so, what are their PC players/teams?
