Chris Paul is heading to Houston to join James Harden, and the Rockets will have two All-Stars in the backcourt to lead their chase for a championship after a blockbuster trade with the LA Clippers on Wednesday.

The Rockets will send Sam Dekker, Patrick Beverley, Lou Williams, DeAndre Liggins, Darrun Hilliard, Montrezl Harrell, Kyle Wiltjer, a top-three-protected 2018 first-round pick and $661,000 to the Clippers in exchange for Paul, who tweeted that he was going through an "unbelievable amount of emotions right now."

BAD trade for Rockets ... they either get a one-year rental of CP3 which is basically useless or they get the great opportunity to hand him a mega contract that will pay him like $40mil per season when he's 37 and 38 which is even worse imho!!!!!!

Does anybody really buy them as champion contenders after this trade? I think they improved but I don't even know if they can get higher than the #3 seed next season....

I don't think they will be any better than #3 seed also. Don't understand this trade, the George trade or the Blake Griffin staying with the Clippers! I think he wanted away from Doc Rivers!
