New York Knicks fire Phil Jackson

The New York Knicks have cut ties with team president Phil Jackson.
Jackson and the franchise announced that they're parting ways early Wednesday morning in a joint statement, despite the fact that Jackson has two years and at least $24million left in his contract.
The decision from owner James Dolan occurred as the embattled president feuded with the team's two stars - Carmelo Anthony and Kristaps Porzingis - and was allegedly preparing to get rid of one, if not both, as he built a roster around his triangle offense, according to ESPN.

Being a great coach obviously does not necessarily translate to being a great executive.
Always Looking for:
A) Graded Vintage (Pre-1980) (BGS, BVG, PSA, SGC) in all sports
B) Graded True RC's (No inserts or parallels) (BGS, PSA, SGC) in all sports
C) Certified Auto and GU cards of players from the 70's and further back in all sports

That is true but the Knicks have been and probably will be bad for a long time
