Nineteen ninety one Daytona 500 Champion, Ernie Irvan, is planning several appearances in Connecticut’s Quiet Corner, in conjunction with the Inaugural Busch North Throwback at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park. Irvan’s son, Jared, announced last week that he would be driving for Martin-McClure Racing, in the No. 4 Kodak car, identical to what his father drove in a Busch North/South combination event at Waltkins Glen International. Together, the father-son duo will be making several appearances in the week leading up to the race.
