    Grading

I have never had anything graded before, but started gathering a good collection of my favorite players. I plan on sending some of my favorites off to get graded.

That being said, what company should I go with? The 2 local card shops tell me different. One says PSA is the way to go, but the other one says BGS is the best. I don't know the difference. I'm not sending in $100 cards or anything too high dollar (not counting my Lebron RCs). Just cards that mean something to me (Jonathan Vilma autos and RCs, Sean Taylor RCs, Andre Johnson RCs, Carlos Correa RCs, etc)

I think most should get 9.5 via BGS. Anyone have an opinion for me?

Basically some cards are better being sent to PSA while others are better off being sent to BGS to maximize your value. Why I don't know but some just (brands, players, sets, sports, etc) sell better in a different label so it only makes sense to go with that grading company over the other one for that particular card.

BGS every time ... PSA is a rip-off! See the previous thread mentioned that I commented in ... charging multiples for slabbing cards that are worth more is unethical and disgusting!

I sent in 21 cards to BGS through my local shop. $10 a card (+$2 per auto) was hard to pass up. With shipping and insurance, it came to $250. I wont get them back for 2 months or so... that means I should get them back around my 35th birthday!
