Could use some advice about securing Leafs tickets
I am in Oklahoma and I will be attending the Big Toronto expo in November and I know the leafs have a game that Friday night against Boston and I would like to go desperately and I know the tickets are going to be crazy high but can anybody advise a good way to go about getting a pair. I was just wondering if I could avoid 3rd party sites maybe I could save myself a little money but whenever you just google tickets it takes you to places like stubhub, ticketmaster, and nhl.com. Is there a better way? I would appreciate any advice.
Check out my ebay listings if you like. ID is mineral02

Unfortunately, Toronto Maple Leaf tickets are almost always sold out. Season ticket wait list is long enough alone.
Your best options is to by from a 3rd party site. I know MLSE releases a batch of tickets to the general public a few days or so before each home game, but odds of getting those are slim as many people are always trying to get tickets. Another option, if you choose to do so, is just go to the game and buy off a scalper. The closer to puck drop, the lower the prices. I've done this a few times before. It does not always work though.
I am from Toronto, and I can say Leafs tickets are always a hot ticket that is hard and costly to obtain.
Have been living in Toronto all my life. Great fans, but when something is the hot ticket, the prices are ALWAYS high and the fans ALWAYS pay. If you want to guarantee seats, you're going to have to bite the bullet and purchase from 3rd party site or something like Kijiji.

Thanks for the advice. I knew about the MLSE 48, 24, and day of ticket releases but I had a feeling those could be anywhere in the arena and the prices could be insane. I wonder if calling the Air Canada Centre directly is any better.

Best of luck securing Leafs tickets. As stated above, getting it from a 3rd party may be your best bet.
If you end up going, have fun and enjoy it. Leafs games have an incredible atmosphere and are always a good time!Jhonas Enroth Card Collector & Host of the Hidden Content

You aren't getting good advice thus far. LOL Going straight to a third-party site only encourages scalping and the terrible gouging practices that have angered so many fans in recent years.
Always always always go direct to the source. In this case: https://www.nhl.com/mapleleafs/tickets/
For your game, tickets are already on sale (that's really early, the Canucks don't do their on-sale until September!) and you can click here to see the Ticketmaster page to see what's available:

Already there's only mostly single seats, so act fast!

No problem. As a guy who bought some Metallica tickets this summer, I can definitely attest to the need to act quickly when things start to happen!

If you are stuck PM me. I have friends who have season tickets and one of them usually sells a pair each game. Usually at face value.
