    Seriously...how stupid are some people?

This is a so obvious faked card but still got many different bidders and ended at a higher price than mine both copies!
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/13-14-Panini...53.m1438.l2649

The genuine Silhouette Patch ones with Barrasso is serial-numbered at /10 and has purple foils (I got 2 copies of that card and one got just a all yellow patch)....as you can see that this card is just a Prime /25 version with only multi-colored jersey swatches and not patch plus red foils on the card.....
It's baffling that there're still fakers and that many bids on card/cards without any research after all! Why not even trying to search other Crown Royale Silhouettes on ebay before bidding on that frankenstein card?
The patch itself completely screams fakeeee!

It's a huge problem that some (waaay too many honestly) certain cards are too thick and got a very deep memorabilia window so it's a piece of cake to faking it then.....
That's so gross and disgusting that there're still many patch forgers (plus scalpers of course) out there.....really happy that I has for 95% stopped to collecting for a long time now!

    Patch fakers definitely suck.

In fairness to the buyer of said card, sometimes it's hard to tell (especially if you're a casual collector). Plus the set came out a while ago, so maybe the buyer forgot about the prime/patch foil colours and serial numbers. It happens.

That's who patch fakers prey on anyways. The people who don't have a clue are the ones who are going to bid. So all they need to do is dupe only a few bidders in order to get a nice sale.

I question some of his other items, too. Craig Anderson Prime Patches 1/35 with a full reebok logo?

Unless you visit forums you probably don't have a knowledge of patch cards being faked so I really wouldn't call them stupid just uninformed. Most people know to look out for reprint vintage cards or faked autographs but they seem to be blinded by patch cards. So I hope people who regularly use this forum wouldn't fall for the obvious fakes on eBay but people who aren't members here might not be so lucky.
