    2017 National adds.....

Got there Friday morning and left Saturday late afternoon. Had a great time. So much to look at! Had so much fun just talking to vendors and just hanging out with bigherp and friends. Found a few cards to come home with. Didnt spend much (far less than what I had allotted) and came back home with money left in my pocket which is always a good thing. Seemed to be vintage heavy this year.
Anyway here are the "finds". Nothing major but at least 3 definite keepers for the HOF PC....
2013 Fergie Jenkins 300/333 by Richard Perkins, on Flickr

2000 Len Dwason by Richard Perkins, on Flickr

2007 Larry Little 35/66 game worn by Richard Perkins, on Flickr
(Auto is much bolder in person, looks faded here because of the scan)

2005 Deacon Jones 91/99 by Richard Perkins, on Flickr

1995 Walter Payton by Richard Perkins, on Flickr
(I know these are as common as corn in Iowa and often counterfeited but the price was oh so right and figured the PSA/DNA slab would soothe my worries. So now I own a "Sweetness" auto. Now just have to save up for a better one!)

2014 Frank Gifford 14/25 by Richard Perkins, on Flickr
(Definitely NFT. This was my first purchase.)

2016 Dick Butkus 10/25 by Richard Perkins, on Flickr
(Had been looking to upgrade my Butkus auto and was about to give up. Nabbed this one just before I left after a quick trip to the bathroom. So glad I had that extra cup of coffee and a full bladder. Found this right outside the Men's Room door! NFT)

And the big(?) addition. I know it's off-center but paid an off-center price. Wanted an on-card auto of this guy. Clean sig and the back has more than just the usual "COA" printing found on a lot of cards these days. NFT....
2001 Johnny Unitas by Richard Perkins, on Flickr

Definitely looking forward to the next Nats I can attend. If not Cleveland next yr then 2019 back in Chicago.

    Rick,
Nice pickups. Did you get to cover the whole show floor while you where there?

I think I probably hit 80% of it. It's kind of like going to the Smithsonian Museum, so much to see! If the vendor had an organized set-up then I spent more time looking. But if cards were randomly laying in a case, jumbled/stacked on top of each other, I gave them just a quick glance and moved on. Didn't go to the corporate sponsored booths (Topps, Panini, etc) and didn't look at the booths selling wax boxes/cases. I was looking for singles.
Definitely worth the trip to go!

Definitely too many singles to look at in any day. Especially, when some dealers might have the single cards your looking for in a 3200 or 5000 count box.
